The addition is an essential and fundamental of maths to kids. It’s important for kids to be well versed in the topic. Here I have covered the CBSC syllabus in this workbook. I have added some activities like coloring, matching, and a game so that kids can practice the worksheets with fun.
About Workbook
The workbook contains 20 activity sheets in pdf format. You can download the whole workbook or some particular worksheets of your choice. For class 2 kids they have covered addition with pictures, single-digit addition, and double-digit addition with carry-on. It’s important for kids to understand the concept and do regular practice. Some kids get bored doing sums for a long time. To break the boredom and make the practice fun I have added some activities to make it more interesting.
Contents Of Book
- Picture addition: Basic addition starts with the picture addition. Here I have added some colorful pictures so that the kids get attracted and practice with interest.
- Coloring activity: In between, I have added some coloring activities such as finding the sum and coloring the picture, true or false, matching which grasps kids’ interest.
- Roll and add game sheet: I have included one game where kids have to roll the dice and write the numbers under a particular column. Then they have to write the equation and find the sum.
- Tricks of addition: Kids need some tricks to add their addends faster to finish the sum quickly. Practicing more sums increases the speed to finish the sum.
- Maths sums: The addition of single-digit, Double-digit, and 3-digit numbers are given with and without carrying numbers.
